Charging inlets are the vehicle-side ports where you plug in the charging cable. The most common types include:

Type 1 (SAE J1772): Single-phase AC inlet mainly used in North America and some Asian markets.

Type 2 (IEC 62196): Three-phase AC inlet standard across Europe and many other regions.

CCS1 & CCS2 (Combined Charging System): Inlets combining AC and DC fast charging capabilities—CCS1 for North America (based on Type 1), CCS2 for Europe (based on Type 2).

CHAdeMO: DC fast charging inlet mainly used by some Japanese EV brands.

GB/T: Chinese standard with separate AC and DC inlets.

Choosing the correct charging inlet involves considering your vehicle’s brand and the specific charging standards supported in your geographic location.

EV charging adapters bridge the gap between different charging connector standards, allowing your vehicle to charge from various types of stations. Common adapter types include:

A Type 1 to Type 2 adapter enables electric vehicles equipped with a Type 1 charging port to connect and charge at stations using Type 2 plugs, which is especially helpful for North American cars traveling in Europe.

Type 2 to Type 1 Adapter: Allows Type 2 inlet vehicles to use Type 1 chargers (useful for European cars in North America).

CCS1 to CCS2 Adapter: Enables a vehicle with a North American CCS1 inlet to charge from a European CCS2 station.

CCS2 to CCS1 Adapter: Allows a vehicle with a CCS2 inlet to charge from a North American CCS1 station.

CCS to CHAdeMO Adapter: Connects CCS fast chargers to CHAdeMO-equipped vehicles, often used by Japanese brands.

Tesla to CCS Adapter: Lets Tesla vehicles use CCS fast chargers, expanding charging options beyond Tesla’s Supercharger network.

How to start charging?

1. Get the adapter, Firmly insert the CCS2 male power plug into the CCS2 female, ensure they are coupling

2. Put the adapter CCS1 Female plug into the CCS1 male outlet socket, it has a Max charging current of no more than 150A

3. Notice the charging time, to avoid long time charging to the battery

How to stop charging?

1. Click the button to stop charging , take down the CCS2 to CCS1 EV charging plug

2. Disconnect the CCS2 to CCS1 adapter from the vehicle inlet

3. Put the CCS2 to CCS1 adapter charger away

2. Put the adapter CCS2 female plug into the CCS2 male outlet socket, it has a Max charging current of no more than 150A.

3. Notice the charging time, to avoid long time charging to the battery

How to stop charging?

1. Click the button to stop charging, take down the CCS1 EV charging plug

2. Disconnect the CCS1 to CCS2 adapter from the vehicle

3. Put the CCS1 to CCS2 adapter charger away

Use Instruction：

We recommend to use the following steps: 

1. Plug in the Type 2 end of the adapter to the charging cable 

2. Plug in the Type 1 end of the adapter to the car’s charging socket 

3. After the Type 2 to Type 1 adapter has clicked in place you are ready for the charge*

*Don’t forget to activate the charging station

When you finish with the charge, disconnect the vehicle side first and then the charging station side. Remove the cable from the charging station when not in use.

Always check the cable, adapter and the contacts for damage and contamination before using them.

Never use a damaged product for charging.

Never use contacts that are dirty or damp.

Only connect the charging adapter to vehicle inlets and infrastructure socket outlets that are protected against water, moisture and liquids.

Never use force to disconnect the plugs. Dangerous electric arcs could result in serious injury or death.

There are electric vehicles that can be started with the cable connected. Always make sure to disconnect it before driving away.

If the connector is smoking or melting, never touch it. If possible, stop the charging process. Press the emergency stop switch on the charging station in any case.

Make sure that the cable is out of the reach of children. Only persons with a valid driver’s license for motor vehicles can use it.
